A gorgeous skewbald, Marchino arrived at IHP rescue centre on Saturday 5 July. He had been seized in one of the final phases of the Colleferro operation.
Sadly, due to the mistreatment he had suffered, he was at first completely unapproachable, such was his fear of humans. Thanks to the commitment of Marco Pagliai and his skill in establishing a viable relationship with horses, Marchino has made great progress. His rehabilitation will continue now at our rescue centre: there is still much work to do together but we are sure that with time and patience Marchino will overcome his terror of the human species.
