05/05/2026 - On May 2, 2026, the Termoli Police served the preventive seizure order — issued by the Larino Public Prosecutor's Office — on the animals used in the April 30 race. Among the lines of investigation: abuse documented on video. It is not the first time this event has come under scrutiny from the authorities.
