Angelika Schneider at Filicaja
Return to the list
13/05/2010
(13th May, 2010)
Angelika Schneider
, one of the most qualified and well-known instructors of the Parelli Team in Italy, has started a series of clinics about
Pat Parelli’s Natural Horsemanship Method
for the people managing horses at IHP.
Sonny Richichi and Ailsa Wakeman
, who are following her lessons, will use a natural approach and relationship with all the horses hosted at Filicaja, starting from the observation and study of each horse’s personality (the so called horsenality).
In this first phase, they will focus only on the
Seven Games
conceived by Parelli as the fundamentals of his method. Then they will gradually raise the level of practice and interaction with the horses we rescued.
For IHP this collaboration represents a jump of quality in the behavioural recovery of confiscated animals and, more in general, for the management of all the horses hosted at Filicaja now and it the future.
All the horses will be closely observed, and we will record all their changes and improvements, both in their relationship with the man and with other horses, especially inside their herd (we wish to remind that our horses live free, in conditions similar to those they would find in the wildness).
We are happy Angelika so enthusiastically chose to help us
; we hope – with her help too – to spread with even more efficiency the concept of a natural, non-violent approach to these wonderful animals.
