Dear friends,

As you are already aware, the IHP is in a fast-growth period. Of all our many ongoing projects IHP has to give priority to the search for a new premises suitable for the new profile of needs for the horses taken in by the Association.

What would be our dream property? Ideally it would be in Tuscany, with at least 30 hectares of useable, undulating land, with adequate shelter for the horses and a house big enough for our staff, our office and for the volunteers.

We are considering the following means to achieving this end, bearing in mind that we are a no-profit association and cannot count on any government funding:

- a donation;

- rent-free use of the land and buildings in return for maintenance of same;

- use of the land for rent but with the proviso that all works carried out to convert and adapt buildings be deducted from the rent;

- renting with the possibility of purchase in the future.

Our search is therefore directed towards a variety of possible partners: local authorities, public and other institutions, and local government bodies for a rental agreement, and the general public for donations and renting.
