A double fixture for IHP next weekend: we will have a stand at both the Terra Futura exhibition and the Sagra del Seitan Festival, both in Florence. After this, our horse behaviour and management courses take off, then on 9 June there will be an event dedicated to our rescue centre.

Terra Futura - an exhibition-conference which every year gathers together the best efforts and proposals of civil society, institutions and companies working to build a sustainable future and a more just world for everyone - at Fortezza da Basso 17, 18 and 19 May.

The 10th Sagra del Seitan is on 18 and 19 May, from Saturday afternoon through Sunday all day, at Area Verde ObiHall, via Fabrizio De Andrè, in Florence.

There is still time to sign up for our courses, which will give you a real understanding of horses, at very low prices. Click here for all information, or contact us via email or telephone. The first course is on 25 and 26 May, with many other dates to choose from during the rest of the year.

On 9 June we will all be at Montaione for ‘Bridleless’, a support day for the IHP rescue centre, which is the only Government-recognised centre for mistreated horses in Italy. During the day, a guided tour led by our voluntary staff, when it will be possible to see all our horses enjoying their life of total freedom. In the evening there will be a delicious buffet and live music. All this for a minimum donation of €18.00 which will go towards the care and upkeep of our equine guests.
