Milan, two horses legally seized on grounds of mistreatment, now looking for rehoming
Return to the list
16/05/2016
(13 May 2016)
Rivalta and Rissoso, both three-year-olds who didn’t make it on the race track of Milan. They were then just thrown away and basically abandoned, but a report saved them in time, although both were very thin, and would not have survived much longer.
After three years
the case against the owner ended with a sentence bargain, and Rivalta and Rissoso
have been seized and given into the care of IHP
. We now
look for an adoptive home
which will give them a secure future. Up until now they have been in the care of the Associazione Salto Oltre il Muro di Bollate, who deserve all our heartfelt thanks for their efforts to give these two horses a new life.
Rivalta and Rissoso are lovely 6-year-olds, but are completely unhandled, so they really need an experienced, expert home.
