Born in 1992, he arrived here in 2003. He was found positive to equine infectious anaemia in 2007, during the first blood test made by Local Health Agency, as provided by the Ministerial decree. Nestore was living from four years in group with other 12 horses and nobody of them has ever been positive. So we can exclude that he became positive after 2003, and it’s probable that he was already positive when he arrived. The prolonged cohabitation with other horses did’t cause any contagion. This horse unluckily suffers from a severe form of asthma, problem totally separated from his positivity. Unfortunately Nestore left us the 8th Dicember 2014.
