I left for IHP with the desire to help the less fortunate horses. Despite my shyness, I decided to stay there for a month to completely live this experience.
Thanks to the availability and friendliness of IHP staff and volunteers who welcomed me, I was myself from the first moment.
Thanks to IHP, I have matured a lot and I have reached an awareness that I think couldn’t be possible without this expereince.
I returne home, enriched with thousand emotions and an awareness that IHP could be my world: a reality where days fly too fast to spend in the Center just a short time.
My thoughts goes out to all the horses of the Rescue Center which, in spite of their past and thanks to the patience and kindness of those who take care of them, have been able to “turn the page” and regain confidence in humans.
A huge hug to all those who have allowed me to undertake this journey that will surely continue.
