01/04/2010

(April 1, 2010)
Among the important steps taken by IHP in order to create a professional structure dedicated to horses’ welfare services, we can now list the important collaboration with Dr. Iacopo Secco, who will be our reference point in the health management of horses entrusted to us.
Dr. Secco, whose help was enlisted for many years by the Flaminia da Filicaja Foundation, is an esteemed equine veterinary in Italy.
While still young, he has several titles and specializations in his curriculum, along with his PhD in Equine Sciences at the Perugia University.
Dr. Secco will be our horses’ health manager: he will take care of or supervise all the veterinary practices on the equines hosted at IHP; he will follow the necessary health prophylaxes and he will give us advice and support to produce informative documents about veterinary medicine.
In fact, on our website, you’ll find reports and piece of advice about the main pathologies affecting horses.
This collaboration, which arrives after the agreement reached with the School of Veterinary Medicine of Pisa University, confirms IHP’s pledge to become a trustable interlocutor in any matter regarding horses’ welfare in Italy.
