Today we said goodbye to Romina, our beloved old lady, at the venerable age of around 40 years—a true record even for us, highlighting the longevity of horses who are often wrongly considered old at 20.

She came to us 12 years ago, seized from an educational farm where she had been mistreated. Over these long years, countless people have had the fortune to know her: she left an impression of sweetness and gentleness on everyone.

Goodbye Romina. We know you are now taking long walks again with Miranda, Sissi, and Arturo, the original group of oldies you joined today. We are left with inevitable tears, but also immense gratitude for everything you taught us and conveyed to us.

You have left us in body, but your spirit will remain with us forever
