As reported by some press agencies, the Mobile Squad of the Agrigento Police intervened in force to block a clandestine race that was taking place along a provincial road in Ciccobriglio di Naro district.

As usual, the two horses pulling the sulky were surrounded and followed by a crowd of people on scooters and motorcycles. Among them some minors.

The two horses were seized and placed in judicial custody, whilst 3 people were reported for illegal racing and illegal betting plus various violations of the highway code.
