After completing the construction of the paddock for Luna and Stella, now we’re building their shelter to protect them from bad weather. And also, because they should not always be out in the open due to their old age.
As many of you would recall, the paddock was constructed to allow Luna and Stella (our blind mare) to stay together outdoors, because the serious problems of Luna’s hind legs forced her to remain in the infirmary for most of the days.



We are now therefore constructing a suitable structure with a flat drained surface in an area populated by trees, not far from the infirmary. These days, thanks to some of our friends who are generously helping us, we are building a hut of about 3 x 5 meters, which will allow Luna and Stella to be sheltered, both in winters and summers.
