Ester
Return to the list
Young and small filly, she arrived emaciated, with open wounds. Hooves in seriously bad condition, with minor infections we have treated. As Lapo and Neri, she had cuts on her gums, indicating use of a particularly savage form of ‘bitting’, meaning a chain which passes across the gums and is fitted then to the bridle (
see photo gallery
). In spite of this she is very calm, and sociable.
