Greystone

Greystone was rescued in 2004 when he was just a foal a few months old: he was destined to be sold to the trader and probably end up directly at the slaughterhouse. In fact, the mother was in the hands of a farmer who had her impregnated and then resold the foals. A kind-hearted person took the mare and foal away from there and entrusted them to the care of the Flaminia da Filicaja Foundation, from which IHP originated a few years later. Greystone grew up with us, becoming a splendid horse not only aesthetically, but also and above all for his balanced and tame temperament. He has always been accompanied by Rosso, almost his age. Over the years their group has grown, with the inclusion of other rescued horses that have found a reference in Greystone. In particular, Panda, who has gone blind, relies mainly on him for orientation.
