Great success for the first natural approach clinic for horse adopters
Return to the list
13/08/2010
(12th August 2010)
On August 9th, 10th, 11th, we held
the first clinic of natural approach
toward horses, organized by IHP and
directed to the people who adopted some of the horses sequestrated in Trequanda
(Siena) at the end of May.
The clinic has been conceived to give – especially to those adopting a colt or a filly – basic notions about horse psychology and about the correct way to build a true friendship with this wonderful animal, respecting its needs and ethologic characteristics.
The clinic was held by
Angelika Schneider
, one of most qualified representative of the Parelli School in Italy, who has led the participants in an unforgettable experience, alternating practice to theory.
Obviously,
this is just a starting point of a longer journey
, which will slowly led the adopters to establish a friendly relationship with their horse. Some of them will continue it at Filicaja, others at home, but keeping in touch with IHP.
At the end of the clinic, both the participants and Angelika expressed their satisfaction, since they all shared and understood, right from the start, the spirit of the event. For IHP this represents
a happy end to the tale begun at the end of May, with the horses’ sequestration
and their arrival to Filicaja: now, not only they found a new family, but also friends believing in the same principles of a non-violent and natural approach.
Other clinics will be organized in the next weeks, these too directed to the new adopters.
