AISPA and IHP still together by the horses’ side

28/08/2011

(2011, August 28th)

The association, already lasting more than a year, between IHP and the British AISPA (The Anglo-Italian Society for the Protection of Animals) has been confirmed. In a recent meeting held in IHP’s quarters, representatives of both associations have acknowledged with satisfaction the progresses made within a few months, and have planned some of the next activities in favour of horses and other equines.

An essential part of IHP’s mission is to change the culture of the horse and its use in our country, and AISPA has interpreted this project, so much it decided to officially support it. The confirmation of this collaboration is proof that we undertook the right, although difficult, path.

IHP’s staff is already working on several difficult projects at national level, while the activity of psycho-physical rehabilitation of horses continues at our centre, which currently hosts 63 four-legged friends and generates a huge amount of work. And let’s not forget the work done with other Italian and European associations: the current petition to limit the transportation of slaughter-bound animals will run till November (see www.horseprotection.it for more information).
