With the aim to compile a list and for future controls, we ask to everyone to report us every kind of event (fetes, palii (races), celebrations etc.) involving animals, which was held starting from 9th September 2009, or is scheduled to be held in the next months in your region.

Since last year, there is an executive order wanted by On. Francesca Martini (Heath Minister Undersecretary) that, while admitting this kind of events, sets some limitations and precise criteria for them. It’s not the result we wish for, since we are against the use of animals in certain contexts, but at least this executive order is a big step forward compared to the complete lack of legislation of the past.

For each event you are aware of, we need to know: name, date (past or future), location, type and number of animals involved and their use, type of pavement, track or road used.
