After 3 weeks spent at IHP, I can say that this experience has changed the way I see horses and riding.

Here they really have enormous respect for these animals and are able to communicate their passion in taking care of the horses.

The work is hard, but the love you feel from the horses repays all the hard work. During the routine or checks, I often stopped to observe them: I saw them play, rest all together or move as a herd. I noticed how these animals live a happy life of freedom at the centre and, above all, this opened my eyes to the life of horses in riding stables or those used for competitions.

To conclude, I had a really good time with the centre staff, Sonny, Giulia and Ben, who not only taught me a lot, but made me feel part of the family.
