IHP 2023 calendar against abuse and mistreatment

14/11/2022

A new edition of the IHP calendar: for 2023 we have chosen 'gratitude' as the theme: 12 beautiful images, one for each month, portray the horses rescued and welcomed into the new premises of the rescue centre in Montaione, where they have finally returned to live free.

"Gratitude is the feeling that these images express and it is the feeling that we feel every day towards the horses, the protagonists of these shots: every day these splendid animals teach something to us, to the visitors, to the volunteers, to those who follow and support us," says IHP President Sonny Richichi. "These images teach that suffering can be transformed into well-being, harmony, freedom. It is possible, if we believe in it and if we strive to make it happen, as IHP does every day."

Buying the calendar means making a concrete contribution to achieving this goal, receiving in return the gratitude of the association and, above all, of the horses, which IHP helps to save and return to a free life every day.
Special thanks go to photographer Vanessa Salvati and Cristina Vennero, who took care of the graphic design. The proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be used to support our activities to combat the mistreatment and abuse that, unfortunately, are increasingly reported to us from all over Italy.

Buying and giving this calendar as a present therefore means giving concrete help for the protection of horses.

Since 2009, IHP has been working nationwide against all forms of exploitation, abuse and mistreatment of horses and other equids. In addition, it runs the first rescue centre in Italy for equidae seized for mistreatment, for which we receive neither public subsidies nor reimbursement from the Public Prosecutor's Office. All activities, including investigations, legal fees and the very costly running of the rescue centre, are financed by donations from private citizens.
